Dr. Renfer has practiced dentistry in Concord for 37 years. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Genetics from U.C. Davis while graduating with Highest Honors. He then received his dental education at U.C.S.F. Dental School, graduating top-ten in his class in 1983. He joined his current practice in 1984, successfully partnering with Dr. Dan Howlett for 30 years.

Dr.Renfer has extensive post-graduate training in many areas of dentistry, including implantology, orofacial pain, and esthetics. His goal has always been to provide the highest quality dentistry to his patients in as caring and comforting an environment as possible.

His greatest reward has been to help countless patients overcome their fear of going to the dentist.

Dr. Renfer and his wife moved to Concord in 1983 where they raised their two (now adult) children. He enjoys sports, mountain biking, woodworking, outdoor activities, and is a devoted 49er fan. He is blessed with a new granddaughter and spends as much time with her as possible.

He is very fortunate and pleased to have been joined in his practice by Dr. Gurjit Randhawa, allowing him to reduce his practice responsibilities and focus exclusively on what he has always loved—providing the best dental care he can for his patients.
